French President Emmanuel Macron will kickstart a national debate later after 5 weeks of protests by the yellow vest movement.
Macron promised he would consult the country and try to find solutions to people's anger over the cost of living in a TV address last week.
But while this weekend's demonstrations were smaller, the movement is continuing to voice its anger at the government.
