US Senators are introducing bipartisan legislation to stop arms sales to Saudi Arabia over the conflict in Yemen and the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul.
The move comes after the Trump administration announced sanctions on 17 Saudis linked to Khashoggi's death.
But as our Washington correspondent Giles Gibson reports, sanctions alone won't be enough to satisfy many US lawmakers:
