UK GOVT MAKES ECONOMIC CASE FOR BREXIT DEAL

The UK government's releasing analysis which claims the country's economy would lose tens of billions of dollars in output in a no-deal Brexit scenario.

The forecasts suggest the deal reached by Theresa May and the EU would leave the UK economy significantly healthier - but smaller than if Britain stayed in the bloc.

It comes as Theresa May and her ministers attempt to sell the government's Brexit deal to the nation ahead of a parliamentary vote on December 11th.

Chancellor Philip Hammond says if she loses that vote, it's hard to predict what happens next.
