Theresa May defends draft Brexit agreement despite high level Ministerial resignations

British Prime Minister Theresa May has told the parliament that the country risks no Brexit deal at all unless MPs get behind her draft withdrawal agreement.   She's facing questions from MPs about the deal which was given cabinet backing after a tense five hour meeting Wednesday.  However Thursday saw a flurry of resignations of ministers and junior ministers, including the man who oversaw much of the negotiations with the EU,  Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab.

There are also suggestions that Conservative backbenchers could force a no-confidence vote in Theresa May's leadership.

However Mrs May has told the Parliament her deal is the best way forward.
