Macron refuses to back down fuel taxes

French President Emmanuel Macron says he hears people's concerns about the cost of living - but he won't back down on fuel taxes. 

The president launched an ambitious plan to cut France's carbon emissions, after a planned rise in tax on diesel brought over a quarter of a million people onto the streets over the last week.
