Khmer Rouge officials convicted of Cambodian genocide

A United Nations-backed tribunal has, for the first time, convicted
two Cambodian Khmer Rouge officials of genocide.

The decision relates to the killing of almost 2 million people in the
late 1970s under dictator Pol Pot.
