British Prime Minister Theresa May is facing criticism from MPs over her draft political declaration with the EU, which sets out plans for the UK's future relationship with the European Union bloc after Brexit.

The document has been agreed on by the UK and Brussels and will need to be signed off by the other 27 EU members, alongside the withdrawal agreement draft which was agreed upon last week.

The draft on the future relationship is a roadmap for negotiations which will take place after Brexit, during a 21 month transition period. But many who oppose this draft agreement argue that they believe it will mean the transition period will last beyond 21 months and the UK will remain tied to the EU for an indefinite amount of time.
