UN warns death toll after Sulawesi quake likely to rise

The United Nations is warning that large parts of Indonesia worst affected by the recent earthquake and resulting tsunami have still not been reached by rescuers.   However the world body's humanitarian team say they are doing what they can to help provide food, water and shelter to those left homeless after the devastation of the twin disasters.

It comes as relief efforts continue on the island of Sulawesi, where the city of Palu was particularly hard hit.    More than 1400 people are known to have died however there are fears that toll could rise as teams reach more remote areas.
