France freezes Iranian assets over alleged attack attempt

France has frozen the financial assets of the Iranian intelligence directorate and of two Iranian individuals, saying Tehran was responsible for an attempted terrorist attack on an Iranian opposition rally in the Paris suburbs in June.

The interior minister has called it a « serious act that couldn't go without a response. »
