20,000 farmers protest against Indian government

Thousands of farmers are marching towards India's capital of New Delhi, demanding that the federal government waive off their farm loans.

This is only the latest in a series of protests against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government. According to government data, 52% of all farming families in India live in debt and an average Indian farmer only earns about $300 annually.
