The White House says it is open to hearing testimony from a second woman who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.
The Senate Judiciary Committee is already scheduled to hear from his first accuser on Thursday.
Mr Kavanaugh denies the charges, and retains the support of the White House.
