UN votes to investigate top military officials in Myanmar for genocide

The United Nations Human Rights Council has voted to carry out an investigation of top military personnel in Myanmar on potential genocide charges. 

It follows violence that started in August last year against the Muslim Rohingya population, with hundreds of thousands fleeing the country.
