UK LABOUR PARTY: LIKELY TO VOTE AGAINST BREXIT DEAL

The UK's opposition Labour Party says it is 'likely' its MPs will be told to vote against any Brexit deal secured by Prime Minister Theresa May.

Labour says if she reaches an agreement with Brussels, it looks set to fail six key tests the opposition has set.

If Parliament rejected the Brexit deal offered, Labour says it would then press for a general election.

Theresa May continues to insist she'll negotiate on the basis of her so-called 'Chequers Plan' despite it being dismissed at an EU summit in Salzburg last week.

Labour peer Lord Falconer says that makes an election likely.
