US President Donald Trump says he will make "no concessions" in the running dispute between his country and Turkey.
The US recently placed tariffs on Turkish steel and aluminium after Ankara refused to release Andrew Brunson, an American pastor currently detained in Turkey.
And as our Washington correspondent Giles Gibson reports, there's also a domestic political angle to the dispute:
