Former UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson is facing calls for him to be kicked out of the governing Conservative Party over remarks he made about the Burka.
However, Mr Johnson is standing by comments he made in a newspaper column, despite a growing row about claims of Islamophobia.
His article said the UK should not ban full-face veils like the Niqab or Burka, but did say they make women look 'ridiculous'.
