Trump doubles down on demand for NATO countries to spend more

US President Donald Trump has double down on a call for NATO allies to spend 4 per cent of their GDP on defence - even though only two thirds of member countries are on track to meet the current target of 2 per cent by 2024.

The summit wraps up in Brussels on Thursday, with Trump then heading to London.
