Tens of thousands of Russian football fans gathered in the World Cup Fan Zone in Moscow to thank their team, after a narrow defeat to Croatia.
Supporters met the players and coaches, in an emotional tribute to a squad that reached the last eight, after starting out as the lowest-ranked in the tournament. Jessica King has more from Moscow.
