The summit of the BRICS countries – Brazil, Russia, China, India and South Africa – begins today (Wednesday) in Johannesburg. It's the tenth annual gathering for this international organisation of the leading emerging economies.
According to a Kremlin presidential aide, the BRICS New Development Bank has agreed to finance 21 projects totalling more than 5 billion dollars - including 5 in Russia. Jessica King reports.
