In a major U-turn, President Trump says he's ending - at least temporarily - his policy to put the children of illegal immigrants into detention centers, separated from their parents.
The move comes amid growing fury across America's political spectrum over President Trump's decision to authorize the detention of children, some as young as 7 months old.
