US: TRUMP / KIM TALKS STILL ON

The US says a planned summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un on 12th June is still on, as far as it knows.

This despite threats from North Korea to pull out of the talks, due to take place in Singapore.

Pyongyang has accused Washington of making reckless statements and holding sinister intentions, with blame leveled at US National Security Advisor John Bolton.

The North has already pulled out of Wednesday talks with the South as a reaction to joint military drills between South Korea and the US.

State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert says the US considers the June 12th summit to be going ahead.

IN:  "What we…
OUT:  …of anything."
DUR:  12 seconds
