US Senate votes to keep net neutrality rules in place

The US Senate has delivered a blow to President Trump over the issue of net neutrality - whether internet companies will be allowed to charge more or slow down the delivery of various types of content.

The Senate has voted to keep in place rules that ensured a level playing field for all internet users, arguing this was necessary to protect the interests of consumers.

But as our Washington correspondent John Clarke reports, the battle over the issue is likely to go on for some time.
