THERESA MAY WARNED OVER CUSTOMS BREXIT STRATEGY

UK Prime Minister Theresa May's been warned her government could be collapsed by her own MPs over a key plank of Brexit strategy.

Mrs May is hosting a meeting of senior ministers on Wednesday to discuss customs arrangements with the EU as Britain leaves the bloc.

Downing Street is understood to favour a so-called 'customs partnership' which would see the UK mirroring EU customs rules at its borders and collecting tariffs on behalf of Brussels.

But senior Brexiteer MPs from within Theresa May's Conservative Party say this would be unacceptable - and it's thought some would be willing to bring the government down over the issue.
