Indian town tense after 12 killed in police clashes

The Indian town of Tuticorin remains tense after two more civilians were killed in police firing, taking the total death toll to twelve.

The police claims they were forced to open fire after protesters started throwing stones. 

The state government of Tamil Nadu has ordered a probe into the clashes.
