Trump administration opens investigation into Facebook

The US Federal Trade Commission is to investigate whether Facebook has "failed" to protect users' privacy.

The social network has been criticised for allowing data firm Cambridge Analytica to gather information on 50 million users, which have been used to help Donald Trump's election campaign.
