Facebook pares losses following plans to shutter third-party data broker service

Facebook shares rebounded Thursday after being pummeled by the Cambridge Analytica data-harvesting scandal.


The social network managed to reverse some of those losses Thursday, after announcing it was shutting down a product for third party data providers to target Facebook users.
