EU RECALLS MOSCOW AMBASSADOR

The European Union is recalling its ambassador to Moscow over the nerve agent attack in the UK.

EU leaders have agreed there's 'no plausible alternative explanation' for the incident other than Russian involvement.

Moscow denies responsibility for the poisoning in Salisbury of Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.

It's reported a number of European countries are also now considering recalling their ambassadors to Russia.

German MEP Manfred Weber says it's important to show a united front.
