EU expected to extend financial support for Turkey over migrants at Bulgaria summit

The European Union is expected to extend its financial support to Turkey for its cooperation in preventing migrants and refugees reaching Europe.

The leaders of the EU institutions are holding a summit with Turkish president Erdogan in Bulgaria.
