Criticism over McDonald's use of "International Women's Day"

McDonald's has been criticized for flipping its logo upside down for
International Women's Day.

The fast food chain said it's to "celebrate women everywhere," adding
the majority of its restaurant managers are women.

Critics have said it's a gimmick, and that the company should focus on
pay and putting more women in higher management positions.

But US correspondent, Frances Read, says marketing around Women's Day
is working for companies.
