The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has deployed to the UK to investigate the nerve agent attack against a former Russian spy.
The attack two weeks ago has sparked a diplomatic spat between the London and Moscow, with diplomats from both countries expelled.
The head of the international chemical weapons watchdog visited New York to brief the United Nations Security Council on the investigation.
The Director-General of the OPCW Ahmet Uzumcu said he expected results in a few weeks time.
