With more than nine hundred children killed in Syria last year, 2017 was the deadliest year for children in the war-torn country, United Nations officials told the Geneva-based Human Rights Council on Tuesday.
The grim assessment comes as the humanitarian situation remains dire and as divisions persist within the UN Security Council over implementing a ceasefire.
