U.S. Sec. of Defense urges Turkey to focus on Islamic State battle

U.S. Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis has called on Turkey to focus its
efforts in northern Syria on the fight against the so-called Islamic
State.

Relations between the two nations have been strained since Ankara
launched an offensive against Kurdish forces near the Turkish border.
