The trial of the only surviving suspect from the 2015 Paris terror attacks will continue in Belgium on Thursday. 28 year old Salah Abdeslam is facing charges relating to the gunfight in Brussels, where he fled after the attacks, that led to his arrest. However he has refused to answer questions from the judge or take part in the trial.
Abdeslam and his suspected accomplice, 24 year old Sofien Ayari are accused of possessing illegal weapons and attempted murder of police officers. Those officers will give evidence Thursday as Jack Parrock reports from outside the court in Brussels.
