Syrian aid deliveries prevented by shelling

The United Nations says continued shelling in the Syrian suburb of
Eastern Ghouta is preventing aid convoys from reaching besieged
civilians.

The government's ally Russia had announced a five-hour pause in the
fighting to allow aid in.
