Banana threat in Australia's far north

Australia's banana growers in Far North Queensland are reeling after confirmation of a new outbreak of the devastating Panama TR4 disease.
After two previous cases in the Tully region in the past three years, conclusive testing showed the soil-borne fungus had returned in a major scare to the $A570 ($US450 GBP320 EURO365)  million industry.
