U.S. President Donald Trump wants to bring the message to the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland that America is ready to compete.
This message previewed by his top advisers comes as Washington imposes massive tarriffs on washing machines and solar cells, while Canada announces a major multi-national trade deal.
In addition to suggesting that the Trump administration has fresh bilateral trade deals, chief economic advisor Gary Cohn says President Trump wants to convince world leaders his policies are working and that the U.S. is not turning inward.
