U.S. East Coast braces for freezing cold after blizzards hit major cities

Over a foot of snow fell in parts of the U.S. Northeast Thursday when
a bomb cyclone hit bringing with it blizzard like conditions.

Winds picked up to as high as 75 miles per hour in some parts but
officials now urge residents to brace themselves for freezing
temperatures.
