Britain's watchdog on equality issues has written to the BBC to request facts around the case of Carrie Gracie, the journalist who has quit her role as China Editor in a row over equal pay.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission says it needs further information to consider whether faction is required based on the broadcasters response. From London, Catherine Drew reports.
