The UK government is promising to spend an extra £44.5m / $60m on boosting Channel border security.
The announcement comes as French President Emmanuel Macron visits the UK for talks with Prime Minister Theresa May.
He's been calling for Britain to do more to help tackle the number of migrants still trying to make their way from France to the UK.
Britain's also expected to commit to taking in more migrants from the Calais area - particularly children.
Mrs May and Mr Macron hope to show their two countries continue to have a close relationship as Britain leaves the EU.
But Conservative MP Tim Loughton says France shouldn't push its luck.
