US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says US troops will remain in Syria after their fight against Isis.
In a speech at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, Mr Tillerson said the US would maintain a presence in the country to ensure neither Iran or President Assad of Syria could take over newly liberated areas.
