India cancels $500 million deal for Israeli anti-tank missiles

Weeks ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to India, the Narendra Modi government in Delhi has cancelled a crucial defence deal.

India was slated to sign a contract to buy the anti-tank guided missiles from Israeli defence giant Rafael.

India is one of Israel's largest buyers of military equipment.
