EU offers UK a 21 month "status quo" transition after Brexit

It only took European Union ministers two minutes to sign off on a set of directives for the next round of negotiations with the UK on Brexit.


The guidelines state that the UK will have to respect EU laws during a transitional period but will not be able to vote on any decisions.
