UN official blames Saudi-led strikes for civilian deaths in Yemen

The UN's top official in Yemen says 68 civilians have been killed in fighting in the country in just one day.

Jamie McGoldrick, the UN's humanitarian coordinator, blames two Saudi-led air raids for the deaths.

The United Nations reports more than a hundred civilians have been killed in the violence in Yemen over the last ten days.

UNICEF spokeswoman in Sana'a, Meritxell Relaño, says a political solution must be found.
