Spain has withdrawn the international arrest warrant it issues against former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont.
He and four other separatist leaders fled to Belgium after Spain took direct rule following Mr Puigdemont's declaration of independence for Catalonia.
The Spanish arrest warrant against them remains.
