U.S. President Donald Trump thinks the U.S. government could shutdown, and is already blaming the Democrats.
The U.S. federal government runs out of funding at the end of the week and so far, the only proposal is for a two-week stop-gap measure.
During a photo-op during a cabinet meeting, President Trump said the reason why the government could run out of money is that the Democrats are soft on crime and and terrorism:

President Trump was complaining about the acquittal of undocumented immigrant Jose Ines Garcia Zarate who was involved in what appeared to be the accidental death of Kate Steinle, a young woman in San Francisco.
