Johnny Hallyday, the biggest pop star in French history, has died at the age of 74.
He'd been suffering from lung cancer.
For decades, he'd been the French answer to Elvis and had given rock-and-roll a French accent after being influenced by American music in the 1950s.
In a 2014 interview, he was asked how he would like to be remembered.
