India bans condom ads from airwaves during the day

Calling them 'indecent', the Indian government has asked TV channels to not show condom advertisements from 6am to 10pm.

This comes at a time when a study has revealed how nearly half of all reported pregnancies in India are unintended, pointing to the need for better contraception and family planning programmes.
