US Unemployment Hits 17 Year Low

US unemployment has hit its lowest level in seventeen years, at just 4.1%.

Last month 261,000 were jobs created.

The tighter labor market hasn't led to pressure on wages, with  the average hourly rate increasing only a cent.

Our Washington Correspondent Daniel Ryntjes says the numbers also reflect a rebound from job losses after the hurricanes in Florida and Texas.
