US President blames Texas mass shooting on "mental health issues"


Speaking to reporters during his multi-nation tour of Asia, President Trump said a Texas mass shooting that left 26 people dead was caused by "mental health issues" and wasn't a "guns situation."

And as our Washington correspondent Giles Gibson reports, this isn't the first time the president has made that argument after a mass shooting:
