Trump picks Jerome Powell to lead Fed

US President Donald Trump has nominated Jerome Powell to become the
next chairman of the Federal Reserve.

62-year-old Powell currently sits on the board of governors and has
served under the two previous chairs, Ben Bernanke and current head
Janet Yellen.

With Powell at the helm US correspondent Nick Harper says there's
unlikely to be much change in direction for the Fed.
