Pres. Trump names North Korea "state sponsor of terror"

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he is formally designating North Korea a state sponsor of terrorism.

While the international community was horrified primarily by the assassination of Kim Jong Nam, the half-brother of Kim Jong Un, President Trump is singling out the death of American college student Otto Warmbier.

President Trump confirmed the designation during a Cabinet meeting.
